Assistant Controller

BioHarvest Sciences, a fast growing Biotech with operations in Israel, Canada and USA is looking for an Assistant Controller!

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting records and preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS

• Assist with preparation of management reports

• Assist in analyzing monthly and quarterly budgets VS actuals, forecasts and company's goals

• ⁠Collaboration with FP&A team

* Global and local tax matters and fillings

• Oversee the subsidiaries' financials

• Oversight of the day to day accounting and financial operations

• Work with the company's external auditors / advisors on audit, accounting and other matters.

• Assist in establishing and maintaining financial key policies, procedures and controls throughout the entire reporting process

• Support the accounting team in various tasks and reporting

• Assist with managing cash flow and preparing ad hoc reports

• Oversee billing process

Job requirements:

• CPA with Big 4 firm experience- minimum 2 years of experience

• Strong knowledge of IFRS

• Knowledge of Israeli tax and tax reporting experience

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills

• Familiarity with Priority- Advantage

• Fluent English

• Advanced excel skills

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to work in a fast paced multinational and multicurrency environment
