QA Team Lead

 Job Description:

As a QA Team Lead, you will actively lead a team of QA professionals dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards in software development through automated testing. You will be primarily responsible for providing automated regression test scripts using Playwright and API, ensuring comprehensive regression testing of all features, requirements, and defects completed in sprints.

1. Test all Questar products – Cloud and IoT.
2. Develop automated tests for Web UI, mobile apps, and IoT systems.
3. Lead development and execution of test automation strategies using tools like Jira, Xray, Jenkins, and GitHub.
4. Create and execute automation test cases for REST APIs.
5. Contribute to automation efforts with expertise in PyTest, Playwright, and Python.
6. Participate in agile planning and backlog management.
7. Identify and manage bugs.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders on testing strategies.
9. Promote innovation and best practices in testing.
10. Understand the entire Software Development Life Cycle.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or equivalent experience from 8200 unit.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing.
3. At least 2 years of experience in a team lead role, with proven leadership skills.
4. At least 2 years of experience in a SAAS company.
5. Experience and knowledge in Hardware and Electronics - Advantage

Skills:

1. Proficiency in Python, Pytest, Jira, Xray, GitHub, Jenkins, and Playwright.
2. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
3. Knowledge of SQL, Linux, AWS, REST API, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
6. Great organizational skills are essential, including the ability to manage time and work efficiently, and maintain proper documentation.
