The Institute for Liberty and Responsibility at Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya) serves as a platform for academic research on Israeli politics and democracy. The Institute strives to promote and advance the values, policies, and institutions vital to the existence of a liberal democracy in Israel.

Staff members engage in research and university instruction,and they participate in the public debate on political institutions and behavior in Israel.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a postdoctoral fellow. The position will begin September 1, 2024 for a one year period. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research on Israeli politics and will participate in the Institute’s public-opinion surveys, reports, and data analysis.

Qualifications

PhD in Political Science or related fields.

Strong research skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Prior experience in empirical research.

Publications in relevant journals is a plus.

Priority will be given to candidates who have experience working with surveys and with statistical softwares (R, Stata), as well as candidates whose research interests overlap with those of the Institute.
