Bookkeeper

WHEELSHARE company operating in the field of SMART MOBILITY, OPERATES cooperative and innovative stations for renting wheelchairs in hospitals and other public centers, in Israel and abroad.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting team on all bookkeeping activities
• Responsible for accounts receivable, including invoicing and AR aging (no collection)
• Manage bank and credit cards reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Managing accruals and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis
• Reporting to all Israeli tax authorities
• Account payable management - new vendor creation (local and foreign), account payables reconciliation
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process and track invoices, payments, and expenses.
• VAT reporting and payment.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and experience in payroll management
• Certified bookkeeper (Type 1+2)
• Good-level of English- Must
• Proficiency in accounting software (Priority – an advantage) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Team player with a proactive approach
