Information Security Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect our organization's systems and data from cyber threats. The Information Security Architect will work closely with other IT professionals to develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures, as well as provide guidance on security best practices.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement security solutions to protect the organization's systems and data.

Develop and maintain security architecture documents, including security standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into system development lifecycle processes.

Provide guidance and support to IT teams on security best practices and technologies.

Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.

Lead security incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.

Participate in security governance committees to provide input on security policies and standards.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role.

Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.

Experience with cloud security technologies and best practices, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.

Knowledge of encryption technologies, including TLS, SSL, and PKI.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSK are preferred.
