IT Operations Team Leader

You can Expect:

1. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT, managing IT Tier 3 incidents and problems.

2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals including system administrators, network engineers, and other support staff. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness and professional development.

3. Manage IT infrastructure including operating systems, databases, email servers, cloud services, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

4. Monitor system and network performance and implement upgrades or patches as necessary to maintain optimal functionality.

5. Implement IT policies, procedures, and routines to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of the IT Infrastructure.

6. Collaborate with various departments to understand their technology needs and align IT resources accordingly to support organizational needs.

Experience Required:

1. At least 4 years of hands-on experience in IT Windows system administration in large environments (Hundreds of servers and thousands of users).

2. Knowledge and hands-on experience with network and security operations.

3. Knowledge of cloud services.

4. Experience as a team lead in a complex environment – an advantage.

5. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms - an advantage.

6. Strong problem-solver who can conceptualize the big picture as well as fine details.

7. Service-oriented, team player, accountable and dedicated.

8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

9. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
