Financial Controller

Questar is looking for an experienced Finance Controller to undertake aspects of financial management, including coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. In this position, you will take responsibility for preparing timely monthly financial statements regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

The position is reporting to the company CFO.

Day-to-Day job:

• Manage complex international billing tasks, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Lead month-end and year-end close process.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document internal control process.
• Manage the finance team – assistant controller and bookkeepers.
• Additional controller duties as necessary

A good fit would be:

• CPA - Must
• At least 3 years experience as a Financial Controller - Must
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience working with Priority – advantage.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Fluent written and spoken English, mother tongue level is an advantage.
