Configuration Manager

The Military Aircraft Division is looking for a Configuration Manager!

The Configuration Manager plays a central role in product engineering processes, ensuring its configuration in information systems and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project configuration control, documentation, and engineering supervision.
• Working with Configuration Management & PLM environment, implementing processes within the organization.
• Preparation of Configuration Management Plans (CMP) in the project and monitoring their implementation.
• Controlling the completeness of product information before releasing it in the system (product trees/documents/drawings/change documentation).
• Change management (ECO) in the product, change board concentration (CCB), and change approval processes.
• Working with Quality Management representatives and participating in audits at the customer's site.
• Generating periodic configuration status reports, and conducting internal configuration checks (e.g., PCA).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics/Mechanical) - mandatory.
• At least two years experience in one of the following fields: system engineering, mechanical design, electronic design, configuration management, configuration control - mandatory.
• Excellent Excel skills - mandatory.
• Work experience and familiarity with configuration control processes in security companies.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, and ISO 10007.
• Work experience with PLM/PDM.
• Proven experience in building multidisciplinary product files.
• Experience in reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with development and manufacturing domains.
• Familiarity with software configuration management.
• Experience in writing regulations, and work instructions related to configuration control processes in development and manufacturing.
• Experience in leading continuous changes in configuration control.
• Fluent in spoken and written English - mandatory.
