Role Description

Consult2All is seeking for our customers an experienced full-time SRE/DevOps Team Leader to work in Tel Aviv-Yafo. The SRE Team Leader will provide overall leadership and technical direction to the SRE team, ensuring that the team is meeting SLAs and performing all tasks according to company standards. Additionally, the SRE Team Leader will work closely with development teams to ensure stable operations and be responsible for resolving all production issues. This is a hybrid role with flexible work.

• Lead the SRE team in developing technical solutions, leveraging your deep knowledge of the latest technologies and tools in system reliability and resilience.
• Make decisions that will help craft our infrastructure stack, tackling concerns ranging from user configuration, resource isolation, capacity management, and cost.
• Ensure the reliability of our system, abiding by SLAs, and setting SLIs and SLOs that allow for a manageable error budget for teams.
• Build and evolve tools and standards that provide the best developer experience possible.
• Measure, own, and derive the improvement of metrics like deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, and time to restore service.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in leading technical teams
• Worked in a team ensuring system reliability through automation, SLI definition, observability, incident management, and error budget allocation.
• Knowledge of at least one backend programming language like Go, Python, NodeJs, etc.
• Proficiency in AWS, Pulumi and/or Terraform.
• Understanding of web development tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript, React).
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and tools: AWS Lambda, AWS Lambda@edge, etc.
• Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, Massage Broker, etc..
• Experience with end-to-end frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile organization that values team autonomy.
• You’re product-oriented, сalm, and focused under pressure.
• Demonstrated experience working with large-scale distributed systems
• Expertise in high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for web applications
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well across teams
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and log management tools, such as Jenkins, Prometheus, and ELK stack
