Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing solutions based on specified requirements and overseeing their deployment, while ensuring a smooth handoff to the operations team.
• Creating comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) containing detailed deliverables and project plans.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving escalated issues.
• Maintaining network integrity by implementing new systems, troubleshooting and rectifying network problems, and enforcing best practices and policies.
• Designing, installing, and managing new network solutions.
• Managing a multi-vendor environment encompassing Juniper, Cisco, and Fortinet technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise and hands-on experience in various areas, including: In-depth understanding of Juniper routers and switches.
• L2/L3 Switching/Routing and proficiency in dynamic routing protocols like BGP.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and L4/L7 Load Balancing.
• Familiarity with Security Products such as WAF, FW, VPN, and SIEM.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies within private and public cloud environments.
• Experience in scripting and automation using Python and/or Ansible.
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into actionable tasks.
• Proficiency in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to address complex problems.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Experience in project planning, designing, and analyzing existing network systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.

Additional Ways to Stand Out:

• Holding certifications such as CCIE / JNCIE.
• Knowledge of monitoring and telemetry systems is advantageous.
• Experience with container technology, specifically Kubernetes (K8s).
• Familiarity with IT Systems like Active Directory (AD), Radius/LDAP.
• Experience with various monitoring systems.
