Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software architect with strong design and communication skills to join our team. The right candidates will be comfortable explaining system concepts and design benefits across departments, as well as customers, both technical and non-technical audience. They will be able to understand, recommend, assist, and evaluate designs, in order to build robust and scalable solutions. They will also be able to demonstrate potential of system designs, by building proof of concepts, utilizing the appropriate technology of choice.

Requirements:

This role involves a blend of technical acumen, cybersecurity knowledge, and problem-solving skills to design and support the implementation of our unique product that defends against cyber threats, data breaches, and other security vulnerabilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity systems architecture for our products and sub-systems
• Work with tech leads and development leads in designing systems architecture (components, APIs) and deployment infrastructure for platform
• Act as a key player in the product leadership team and liase with incident response teams, operations and support teams to make sure the product handles security defense effectively
• Partner closely with the Cyber Operations and Threat Intel teams on emerging ransomware, phishing threats, and zero day vulnerabilities, and ensure systems design provides migrations in response to those threats as needed
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices
• Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement timely remediation. Work with Ops teams to monitor systems for unusual activities and potential threats, analyzing risks and impacts
• Recommend enhancements to the cybersecurity architecture based on current threats and technological advancements as well as progress on implementation by the development teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a strong understanding of network infrastructure and database security
• Experience in Systems Design of cloud based distributed systems
• Knowledge in Cybersecurity as well like of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) software, privileged access management (PAM) software, cloud security posture management (CSPM) software and the broader security infrastructure
• Experience working in cloud, hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud, and on-prem technology stacks
• Hands on knowledge of common design patterns (microservices)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (like NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance (like GDPR, HIPAA)
• Experience (3+ years) building AWS based products
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
