Our Design department is a multi-disciplinary team of Product Design, Brand Design, Marketing Design and user research.

The Product Design team works cross-functionally with just about every team from product, to marketing, to culture to deliver a unified customer experience and make things feel like HoneyBook.

We’re looking for an Experienced Content Designer to join our talented design team at Honeybook.

Our ideal Content Designer would convey a direct, clear, and conversational communication style, and have the ability to articulate complex concepts and functionality comprehensively. This person will need to convey the importance and impact that amazing content can have on our product and our user experience.

Some Of The Things You Will Do

• Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers and play a role in shaping the design direction.
• Support product teams with clear and comprehensive UX copy.
• Lead HoneyBook’s Content Strategy, building content frameworks, guidelines, and principles to scale your influence and enhance copy and messaging consistency and high-quality bar.
• Work closely with the marketing and education teams to fine-tune our product offering, value propositions, and market fit for independents and small business owners.
• Become an integral part of HoneyBook’s design team. Raise content questions and challenges in our team meetings and contribute to educating individuals on the value Content Design brings in the Design process.

• 5+ Years of experience shipping products and collaborating effectively with product designers, product managers, and developers.
• Exceptional UX writing skills (writing comprehensive UX copy for complex, multi-platform products).
• Experience with generating clear and solid content guidelines and frameworks which allow teams to become more effective and ship better products with higher-quality copy.
• Experience with defining the right tone of voice that fits our brand and target audience.
• A strong user-centric mindset, and a deep understanding of enhancing the user experience of your product.
