Job Description

Intel NEX Cloud Communications (NCCG) team delivers best-in-class Ethernet products and is at the heart of Intel's transformation from a PC company to a company that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices. NCCG's compelling Ethernet products move the world's data and are the foundations of cloud service and telecommunications data centers. You will be exposed to High-Speed I/O protocols such as PCIe, DDR5, and PAM4 Ethernet, which are a part of our Ethernet Infrastructure Processing Unit (Intel IPU) and Foundation NIC (FNIC) Ethernet product lines. We propose a dynamic and flexible workplace position, working directly with highly capable design, system, and pre/post-silicon teams within the organization. We are looking for a skilled multidisciplinary engineer with proven experience in product engineering , data analysis and statistical methods to join our team for our next division projects' challenges and be part of the Ethernet networking marketing accelerated growth. You will be responsible for - Statistical data analysis for ASIC Product parameters collected in ATE and System level tests - Perform ATE device characterization, utilizes that data to define datasheet specifications and performs yield analysis - Optimize product supply through data analysis of post-silicon binsplit, die level cherry pick (DCLP), and optimize sort/test content and yield downstream through data analysis - Drive test time reduction through analysis of fallout data versus test time for various IPs to balance and drive overall product cost optimizations - Ensure manufacturability over process and product design through thorough analysis of process and spec corners and works with design to resolve yield issues before manufacturing ramp - Define, develop and implement tools and methods for improved data collection, analysis and data-driven actions - Innovate product engineering field - participate in AI tools transformation/implementation - Drive multi-disciplinary collaboration for cross domain data correlation (Electrical Validation, System Level Test, ATE)

Qualifications

Min: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, Statistics, etc - 3y of experience in semiconductor field - Understanding and knowledge of ASIC manufacturing processes and flow - Fab, Test, Assembly - Proficiency in statistical data analysis and tools (JMP, Minitab, Stata, Yield Explorer etc) - Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams, product management, and test program owners - Ability to perform in dynamic and fast paced environment - Basic programming/scripting skills (Python, C/C++, other) - Basic grasp of generative AI Preferred: - ATE test engineering experience (Verigy 93K, Teradyne Uflex, etc) - ASIC/Process Product engineering experience - Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques - Expertise in AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
