Design Team Lead

We are looking for a super-talented Creative Director to lead and mentor the Design Team. They will be responsible for all creative elements, overseeing all aspects of brand strategy and design processes, and taking the Design Team to the next level. This includes team-building, strategic research, branding, product design, UX/UI mentorship, hands-on design, and performance marketing.

As well as professional knowledge and the desire to create, we are also looking for an individual who has an understanding of performance marketing and a desire to learn the business side, and lead the creative according to the business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a talented team of designers that consistently deliver on projects and are well-balanced across a range of design skill sets.
• Guide creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices.
• Lead with customer obsession, guide towards strong user experience and strategically leverage user research.
• Empower our designers to become the best they can be, retain top talents, and captivate others to join us.
• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
• Support and build positive and effective communication with other company departments - Marketing, Product, R&D, HR, etc.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to help optimize the performance of marketing projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA )- 4-year degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communication, or similar.
• 5+ years experience in managing artistic/creative groups.
• Thorough understanding and passion for user experience design as it relates to social applications or rich mobile experience.
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize design projects and function in an agile environment.
• Excellent knowledge of fundamental art & design concepts, color theory, composition, and character design.
• Strong knowledge of UX/UI.
• Experience in leadership and mentoring in a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Vast experience in concept creation, storytelling, ideation, visual language development, and graphic design.
• Excellent hard skills to take the most challenging design tasks on your own.
• Excellent soft skills and stress tolerance.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Figma, and experience working with design systems.
• An exceptional online portfolio that demonstrates experience across product-thinking, branding, visual design, and interactive design.
• Excellent command of English
