Summary

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer with strong knowledge of machine learning to join our growing Backend Engineering team and spread the magic of Wiz.

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for driving research and development initiatives to advance generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and other technologies at Wiz.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore, innovate, and implement AI-driven solutions to tackle emerging threats, examine cloud security features, and enhance the security posture of both Wiz customers and Wiz itself.

What You’ll Do

• Bring Machine Learning abilities to production, for AI-driven features in the Wiz platform.
• End-to-end development of backend software components (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring).
• Cover a range of features - from leveraging LLMs to enhance customer investigation experience to novel usage of AI for cloud security.
• Work closely with the Security Research and the Product teams.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Golang).
• Strong working knowledge of AI and ML algorithms and technologies, such as LLMs, CNNs, and LSTMs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with developing high-scale, cloud-native SaaS products.
• Experience with microservices based architecture.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
