Cloud Security Team Lead

We are hiring a cloud security team lead for a global cyber security company in Tel Aviv.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, mentor, coach, recruit, and train the Senior Security Analysts team, including hands-on technical guidance.
• Drive the team towards achieving high performance and results in their daily operations and projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Cultivate and maintain deep technical expertise within the team, encompassing networking, cyber security methodologies, AppSec, Denial-of-Service attacks, API threats, and related areas.
• Foster a customer-centric approach, enhancing professional communication and problem-solving skills among team members.
• Establish and uphold technical and operational processes and procedures.
• Lead and assist in technical escalations with global customers, delivering post-attack analyses, reports, insights, and findings.
• Foster strong relationships with peers across various departments including security, networking, customer success, presales.
• Fulfill on-call duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cyber security, focusing on network threats, AppSec, DDoS, and web application technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within cyber security operations (e.g., SOC, MSSP, Blue Teaming, Red Teaming), with a significant advantage.
• Profound knowledge of networking, including OSI model Layer 3 to Layer 7 protocols such as TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, HTTP, VOIP, along with proficiency in Wireshark, network topologies, switches, routers, etc.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with security controls such as WAFs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, load balancers, and reverse proxies.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated can-do attitude, customer-facing demeanor, accountability, positive outlook, and strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and English language skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willingness to be available during off-work hours when necessary.
