Component Engineer

Mobileye is looking for a talented component engineer for a challenging position in HW team developing systems for autonomous cars.

What will your job look like:

• Collaborate with HW teams to support new design initiatives, including the identification and integration of innovative technologies, and provide technical assistance throughout the development process.
• Manage component definition, maintain databases, create electrical component symbols, and ensure the accuracy of CAD model footprints.
• Identify and approve alternative component sources, proactively manage component obsolescence, and lead initiatives to reduce costs.
• Liaise with R&D, procurement, and operational teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.
• Engage with electronic market vendors, representatives, and suppliers to procure necessary components and establish productive relationships.
  
  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with electrical components.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical engineering qualification.
• Proficiency in component definition and familiarity with OrCAD schematic.
• Strong command of Excel for data management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Agile is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automotive standard parts is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
