Launchbay.digital is a direct investment platform enabling professional investors to access equity in private companies. Through our platform, investors receive up-to-date information about the companies they are interested in, have access to real-time portfolio valuation based on actual trade data, and receive recommendations for further investments based on data analytics. There’s also a deal matching engine that allows for the buyers and sellers to identify matched opportunities.

We are looking for a Data Engineer (Middle+/Senior) who would take on tasks related to building the architecture, implementing, and supporting the data management infrastructure of the Launchbay.digital investment platform.

Responsibilities:

·    Design, implementation, and maintenance of startup-friendly data management infrastructure (simple, scalable, easy-to-implement and support solutions, low code solutions, low cost or open source, etc.)

·    Automatic or semi-automatic processing, storing, and sharing of unstructured data from various dynamic sources (files, APIs, emails, websites, etc.).

·    Data architecture design and implementation (with possible AI/ML support).

Requirements:

·    Work experience in Data Engineer/Data Scientist role for no less than 3 years

·    Skills in designing frameworks and libraries, ability to read and analyze code, experience in profiling and optimizing performance/scalability

·    Skills working with popular DE/ML frameworks: airflow, pandas, Kafka/RabbitMQ

·    Experience in obtaining data from APIs, FTP

·    Experience working with Data Science libraries and frameworks such as pandas, sklearn, scipy, matplotlib, catboost

·    Autonomy, ability to find the best solution to a problem;

·    Initiative, implementation of new solutions;

·    Ideally, experience in investment funds or Fintech, with an understanding of the investment context.
