The Learning and Teaching Department at Bar Ilan University stands at the forefront, designing strategies, leading change, and implementing innovation on campus. We are looking for passionate partners to join us in changing the face of teaching and learning in the academic world.  

We are looking for an Operation & Project manager to manage the department's operative and logistical aspects, including procurement, contracts, budget, conferences, etc. The position is the heart of the division, and the work includes a variety of interfaces and leading diverse projects.

The position reports to the head of the department.

Description 

• Working with senior officials in the organization.
• Manage and lead the budget and procurement area, including engagements, budget management, tender committee, ongoing monitoring of invoices and payments, and management of tertiary control processes on the work plans.
• Play a pivotal role in defining the division's strategic direction, objectives, KPIs. 
• Monitoring the department's goals, Spearhead the development of the divisional work plan and closely track its implementation
• Taking initiative and managing various projects of a changing nature.
• Writing tenders and summary reports for funding, donors, and regulatory bodies.
• Data collection, informatics, preparing presentations and materials, writing summaries, etc.
• Carrying out projects and other tasks following the needs of the work and the requirements of the managers.
• Human resources - assistance in recruiting, absorbing, and monitoring the attendance of employees
• Marketing – Managing the division's digital assets such as: website, Facebook, and more.
• Conferences and Divisions events - planning, coordination, and implementation
• Managing a team of 2 
• Responsibility for the organization & methods in the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. 
• A master's degree is an advantage.
• Has experience of at least four years in a similar position
• Managerial experience 
• Strategic thinking ability, creative, organized, & thorough
• Operation and logistics management, ability to drive interfaces, budgeting, construction, and implementation of horizontal processes.
• Ability and willingness to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines (can-do attitude).
• Ability to work independently and in a team and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of Hebrew and English at a very high level - mandatory
• Adjustment to the unique nature of the university, its values ​​, and goals.
