Outbrain is seeking someone to lead the Demand Professional Services group, within the Global Operations team. The lead of the Professional Services Group will oversee our international teams to drive operational excellence and business growth. As with any Outbrain employee, we’re looking for someone resourceful, curious, proactive, with a data-driven approach, creative thinking skills, a go-getter, works well independently and as part of a team, and who will be passionate about what they do.

A Day In The Life

• Team Leadership: Lead global teams, mentor managers, and ensure alignment with company objectives. Collaborate with cross-company teams, including HR, legal, BI, BT, and R&D, to drive operational excellence.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data insights to make strategic decisions and optimize team performance. Leverage understanding of the ad tech industry to inform operational strategies.
• Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, meet SLAs, and maintain quality standards to drive team success. Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with company objectives.
• Customer Interface: Maintain customer support systems for exceptional service delivery. Resolve complex conflicts while maintaining positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Collaborate cross-functionally to lead process improvements and drive revenue growth initiatives. Act as a buffer, negotiate, and balance between business needs and group resources.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Operations Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management at scale, preferably in a global organization.
• Leadership Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading operational or business groups. Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and process improvements.
• Experience Managing Managers: Previous experience in managing managers is an advantage, demonstrating the ability to mentor and develop leadership talent within the team.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Demonstrated capability in strategic decision-making, leveraging data analysis to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in troubleshooting and utilizing tools such as Jira, SalesForce, Tableau, and Excel to streamline operations.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and process improvements in previous roles.
• Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English skills, essential for effective communication across global teams and stakeholders.
