Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a UX designer in product companies, coupled with a proven track record of leading and mentoring teams for at least two years. As a UX Lead at Firma, you will be pivotal in elevating our design capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving excellence in client projects.

Responsibilities:

•  Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the UX team, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team culture that fosters creativity and growth.
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate the team to deliver high-quality work.
•  Project Involvement:
• Act as a critical player in client-facing projects, collaborating with clients to understand their needs and goals.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions with the clients is different stages of the projects, using Design Thinking UX, tools, and methodologies.
• Lead the development of user experience strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
• Oversee the execution of UX design projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
•  Educational Initiatives:
• Develop and implement learning weeklies or similar initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of the UX team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. 
• Empowering the team.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular reviews of UX deliverables to ensure they meet high-quality standards and align with project objectives.
• Implement and enforce UX best practices and standards across projects.
•  Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure a seamless integration of UX into the overall product development process.
• Communicate effectively with clients, presenting design concepts and rationale clearly and compellingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, psychology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a hands-on UX designer in product companies.
• 2+ years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
• Proficient in industry-standard design tools and methodologies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
