As a Qualcomm Software Architect for our Edgewise platform, you will analyze requirements, design architectural initiatives to improve very complex platform running on both cloud and on-prem deployments. Edgewise platform helps world’s tier-1 cellular network operators automating their network management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 9+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as Java, Python, etc.
• 15+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience designing and leading major architectural changes.
  
  

As a Qualcomm Software Architect for our Edgewise platform, you will:

• Designing the architecture of the platform to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability and performance.
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure that the architecture is aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Creating and presenting architecture roadmap for internal (product, R&D) as well as external (customers) audience.
• Oversee the development activities to ensure it is aligned with architecture roadmap/vision.
• Providing guidance to other team members on best practices and standards for software development and architecture POV.
• Designing and leading architectural changes for new and existing processes E2E, from the initial concept to a well-defined HLD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex architecture problems.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications and Technical Experience - What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong experience in designing an architecture for a highly scalable, reliable complex platform.
• Excellent understanding of one or more known cloud providers (AWS, GCP, AZURE).
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with micro-services architecture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
