responsibilities:

• Participate in the company's management team alongside the CEO, VP Research, VP Product, and COO, contributing to strategic decisions.
• Lead and manage the development team, ensuring high-quality software development and project delivery.
• Oversee sprint management and roadmap planning, ensuring projects align with long-term goals.
• Recruit and build feature teams, expanding the technical staff with developers and IT experts as needed.
• Make executive decisions regarding the company's technological direction, software architecture, and IT infrastructure.
• Understand client technical needs and provide advanced and creative solutions, enhancing client satisfaction.
• Communicate complex technical details to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding of the product's value and operation.
• Hands-on involvement in development, IT, and onboarding new technical employees, maintaining the company's status as the industry leader.
• Oversee on-prem services maintenance, VMs management via Qemu and Proxmox, and low-level networking configuration.
• Mentor team members, and ensure high attention to detail and organization in project management.

requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, ideally within a startup environment.
• Strong proficiency with as many in: GO, Python, POSIX shell, gRPC, REST API, JS, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/s, PostgreSQL, in-depth Linux, source control (Git), Wireguard, and VMs management via Qemu and Proxmox.
• Experience withn networking/servers.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and growing technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisions that align with the company's long-term goals.
• Hands-on experience in software development and IT systems, with a simple, pragmatic programming style.
• Passion for minimalism and aversion to bloatware, with a constant desire to improve and optimize.
• Ability to multitask, maintain high attention to detail, and work methodically.
• Organized and hands-on with a can-do attitude, capable of mentoring and sprint management.
