איקא מעבדות (2006) בע"מ הינה המעבדה המטלורגית המובילה בישראל, הנמצאת בטירת כרמל. איקא עובדת בתחומי חקר כשל במתכות, קורוזיה, ציפויים ו- PCB ומבצעת בדיקות תכונות מכניות של מתכות, בדיקות מטלוגרפיה (מיקרוסקופיה אופטית ו- SEM) בדיקות סביבה, אנליזות כימיות ועוד. איקא מקבלת באופן יומיומי עבודות חדשות, מעניינות ומאתגרות, הדורשות יצירתיות, אחריות ותקשורת עם לקוחות מכל קצוות התעשייה: צבא וביטחון, בניין, תעופה, רפואה (Med-Tech), מזון (Food-Tech) ועוד.

איקא מוסמכת ISO 9001 ו- ISO 17025, בנוסף להסמכת NADCAP.

על התפקיד

ביצוע בדיקות מטלורגיה למתכות מכל תחומי התעשייה, כגון בדיקות מכניות (נגיפה, קושיות), בדיקות מטלוגרפיה (מיקרוסקופ אופטי), הכנת דגמים מטלוגרפיים ואיכול.

הזדמנות ללמוד ממהנדסי מטלורגיה (PhD / MSc / BSc) עם ניסיון של עשורים בתחום.

במקביל לצבירת ניסיון מקצועי, ביצוע בדיקות והכרת תכונות ואפיון מתכות, הסטודנט יתנסה בעבודת צוות עם המהנדסים והטכנאים בבית המלאכה שלנו.

About IKA Laboratories

IKA Laboratories is the leading metallurgical laboratory in Israel, located in Tirat Carmel, Haifa District, Israel. IKA works in the fields of failure analyses, corrosion, coating and plating and PCB, performs mechanical testing of materials, metallographic examinations (both with optical microscopy and SEM), environmental testing, chemical analyses etc.

About the Role

Performance of metallurgical tests of metals from all aspects of industry, such as mechanical tests (impact, hardness), metallographic examinations (optical microscope), preparation of metallographic specimens and etching.

The student will have the opportunity to learn from professional metallurgists (PhD/ MSc / BSc), decades in the field of metallurgy. While acquiring working experience, performing tests and getting familiar with the properties of metals, the student will partake in teamwork with our engineers and workshop technicians.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in materials science and engineering or equivalent studying

Russian and English proficiency – an advantage

Laboratory work experience – an advantage
