Backend Team Lead

Neteera is developing a cutting edge and state-of-the-art radar-based technology, for remote and contactless vital sign sensing solution in the healthcare domain.

Our technology comprises unique innovative Radar-on chip in the sub-terahertz (THz) range, which together with appropriate algorithms allow the measurement of vital signs and behavioral parameters.

Neteera is looking for an experienced Backend Team Lead who will join the Cloud Group and will lead a team of experienced BE engineers. We expect our candidate to significantly contribute to architecture, design and development of our cutting edge medical solution.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of experienced BE SW engineers in Israel and abroad.
• Taking an active part in architecture and design of the features based on product requirements.
• Being accountable for product requirements implementations and timely delivery.
• Work closely with all R&D teams/disciplines (frontend, algo, product, dev ops and V&V) and contribute to overall product development.
• Developing high quality code, at least 45% of the time.

Professional skills

• 7+ years’ experience with backend development in cloud environment.
• 3+ years’ experience of managing development team including senior engineers.
• The candidate shall be experienced in following technologies:
• Java, Spring Boot – MUST
• Developing REST APIs
• Building Microservice architecture
• RDBMS (MySQL\Oracle\PostgreSQL) - MUST
• Messaging systems (SQS\SNS\ActiveMQ\RabbitMQ\Kafka) - MUST
• Time Series DB (Time Stream\Influx DB\other) – PLUS
• NoSQL (Redis\DynamoDB) – PLUS
• Cloud Native Development experience in AWS\GCP\Azure environment
• Experience developing large scalable enterprise level systems.
• Experience working with: GIT, Modern IDEs, CI\CD.

Candidate profile

• Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
• Great communication skills – MUST.

• Being able to identify possible issues in timely manner and to suggest possible mitigations.
