Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) designed to protect cloud-based applications running in all major cloud providers, including cloud security posture management (CSPM) that finds weak spots across cloud configuration, helps strengthen the overall security posture and identify risk, and cloud workload protection (CWP) which identifies real-time attacks and helps the SOC respond and mitigate.

CNAPP Platforms In Microsoft Defender For Cloud (MDC)

At MDC’s CNAPP team, we focus on platforms and experiences that span across all Defender for Cloud products. We create easy to use and flexible interfaces, that enable large-scale customers to seamlessly purchase, onboard, explore their contextual security findings, and take action to mitigate them. We collaborate with customers both inside and outside Microsoft, to ensure we meet our customers’ needs in the best possible ways.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas end-to-end within Microsoft Defender for Cloud, including building vision and strategy, defining roadmap, help define business model and marketing messages and drive execution for successful results.
• Work closely with our customers, and direct product roadmap based on customer needs.
• Define features and own their backlog, work closely with software engineering and design teams.
• Drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria and performance metrics.
• Be data driven with ongoing analysis of usage data.
• Communicate clearly about projects, risks, and accomplishments on behalf of the team.
• Guide and mentor other team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager
• Experience in building B2B products – must
• Proven track-record delivering software products/services, at-scale, to market
• Team player, independent and enthusiastic
• Creative thinker, with excellent logical thinking skills
• Strong technical understanding
• Great prioritization capabilities
• Great interpersonal skills, deep customer empathy and ability to distill customer needs
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English
• Experienced working with customers
• Experience in cloud cybersecurity space – advantage
• Knowledge in architecture and design of scalable and high-performance cloud services – advantage
