Technical Buyer

A start-up company that develops and manufactures unique unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), are looking for a Technical Procurement Buyer.

Job Description:

The role includes responsibility for the procurement activity and supply chain processes of the company, from defining the requirement to inventory receipt. Working with local and global vendors.

• Preparing BOM (Bills of Materials) based on drawings and technical requirements
• Sourcing local and global vendors, negotiating, cost reduction, and shortening delivery times.
• Building part numbers database for technical components.
• Inventory management.
• Generating orders, processing invoices
• Supplier management.

Job Requirements:

• 3-6 years of previous experience in mechanical procurement in multidisciplinary companies – mandatory. Preference from startup companies/small companies.
• Experience in identifying and managing suppliers, working with subcontractors
• Experience in vendors negotiation.
• Experience in leading supply chain processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and engineering specifications – mandatory, familiarity with SolidWorks is an advantage.
• High-level English – mandatory.
• Experience working in a computerized environment – excellent Excel skills, familiarity with Priority – an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree/engineering degree in relevant fields.
