Position Overview:

NFX is seeking a talented Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team in Israel. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced investors and visionary entrepreneurs at the forefront of innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and investment opportunities.
2. Evaluate potential investment opportunities through rigorous financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment.
3. Perform due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, including assessing business models, technology differentiation, and market positioning.
4. Prepare presentations, and reports for internal review and investment committee meetings.
5. Support portfolio companies post-investment by providing strategic guidance, conducting performance analysis, and facilitating connections with relevant resources.
6. Collaborate with the investment team to source new deals, build relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and contribute to the firm's thought leadership initiatives.
7. Stay abreast of industry developments, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic trends to inform investment decisions and portfolio management strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
2. As we were all founders ourselves - entrepreneurial experience would be a major plus !
3. 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital or a related field. And\or 3-4 years in startups in R&D roles.
4. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
6. Demonstrated passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and venture capital investing.
7. Proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
8. Entrepreneurial mindset with a curiosity for innovation and disruption in technology-driven markets.
