Experienced Automated Testing Team Leader

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of automated testing engineers in the planning, execution, and evaluation of comprehensive test strategies for our integrated software and hardware systems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop automated test scripts.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Define and enforce best practices for test automation, including coding standards, test data management, and version control.
• Analyze test results and work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in automated testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, particularly in a complex software and hardware integration environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for test automation development.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the defense or aerospace industry is a plus.
