The Director of Organizational Development (OD) at AppsFlyer plays a pivotal role in aligning our business strategy with our organizational culture and climate. This position requires a keen eye for both external trends and internal best practices, as well as a drive for innovation. The primary goal is to implement strategic changes in behavior and processes that enhance organizational performance and foster the retention and engagement of our team members. As a key partner to the People Operations team, the Director of OD is instrumental in developing the organization and boosting its effectiveness. This role is tasked with crafting and executing a global OD strategy that bolsters interpersonal trust, cooperation, and communication, ensuring the successful achievement of our organizational objectives.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and implement organizational development and training strategies based on ongoing assessments, tailored to meet current and future strategic organizational goals
- Design and implement leadership development programs, succession planning, and talent management processes
- Construct and manage talent and leadership programs and activities to enhance managerial and organizational effectiveness and foster a culture of empowerment and accountability.
- Develop retention tools for top performers’ personal and professional growth
- Advise and collaborate with senior leadership to understand the company’s goals and strategy related to talent and leadership development
- Enable stakeholders to engage with OD programs and initiatives by providing subject matter expertise and guidance
- Lead and facilitate targeted skills development activities, sessions and workshops to drive leadership and team effectiveness at all levels
- Monitor and evaluate program impact and value to measure the achievement of organizational development strategies and goals
- Bring a global outlook to organizational development efforts, ensuring that initiatives are inclusive and effective across diverse geographies and cultures.
- Serve as a change agent, leading and facilitating change initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to and driving change as needed.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational development and talent management in a global high-tech or similar fast-paced environment, leading global OD domain
- Deep familiarity with OD processes, and methodologies
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, program management and execution skills
- Proven experience in developing organizational development practices and leadership development projects
- Experience consulting to managers and groups at all levels. Ability to coach, facilitate and influence people at all levels.
- Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision.
- Strong team player with ability to successfully cultivate trusted relationships with partners, stakeholders and vendors and collaborate with geographically distributed and multicultural teams.
- Creativity, ability to convert complex concepts into learning experiences
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Experience in a global company and work in a multicultural environment
- Fluent English speaking and writing
