Team8-Business Operations & Strategy Manager

Team8 is hiring an exceptional Business Operations and Strategy Manager in Tel-Aviv. In this role, you will lead and facilitate the team’s core activities, spanning from company ideation and validation to business development and fund governance. As such, you will work closely with the fund’s leadership to ensure that we are meeting our KPIs, including finding and working with exceptional founders, strategizing theses for innovative startups, and building successful companies.

We are looking for a superstar with a broad skill set, who is capable of executing on multiple projects simultaneously, while getting things done from both a “big picture” perspective, and in the details. At the same time, we need you to be an exceptional strategist, capable of assessing investment opportunities and building innovative theses from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support day-to-day operations for Team8's foundry.
• Take an active role in ensuring success along every step of the company building and growth process, making sure KPIs are met.
• Build and execute new processes to ensure efficient workflows.
• Source and manage a pipeline of exceptional founders - supporting the process from the first meeting to a go/no-go decision.
• Support fundraising, fund governance, and investor relations.
• Lead ideation tracks: source and build theses, conduct market research, lead user interviews and clearly communicate findings to the fund’s leadership to support a go/no-go decision.
• Build a business intelligence layer to manage the team’s priorities, and synthesize findings for a strategic “state of the business” picture.
• Actively initiate new projects to meet long-term goals.
  
  

• 3-5 years of experience in business operations/ consulting/ venture capital/ business analyst roles.
• Analytical and tech-savvy, working well with numbers, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Strong strategy and execution capabilities, with the ability to fully own the details and the “big picture” perspective.
• Comfortable jumping from one topic to another, able to go wide or deep depending on the task.
• Proven experience conducting market research and strategy development.
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
• Team player with a collaborative approach and an independent mindset.
• A background in cyber security, AI and or data infrastructure - an advantage.
• Native English (spoken and written) - a must.
