Product Specialist

Job Description

As a Product Specialist for Wix eCommerce, you’ll need to understand the product needs of high-profile users, plan tailored solutions for their specific business needs based on Wix tools, APIs, and SPIs, and effectively communicate feedback to the Wix eCommerce product team. In your day-to-day, you’ll:

• Work with sales and account managers in the pre-sale stage to understand both business challenges and technical requirements of high-profile users, then build a live site as a proof of concept with the solutions we offer
• Collaborate with many teams across Wix such as Product, UX, R&D, and account managers to get prospective clients to adopt the platform successfully
• Work alongside account managers, and be the main person to consult for any complex eCommerce-related questions or issues.
• Conduct product training internally with different teams at Wix and also externally for users and eCom agencies.
• Stay up to date with the eCom industry trends and be active in community channels including Facebook, Discord, and Wix Forum
  
  

Qualifications:

• You have proven experience in sales or account management in a technical client services environment or you’ve worked directly with customers in the past in a technical consulting role
• You’re familiar with leading eCom platforms and have a basic understanding of API and SPI documentation to comfortably explain to people how to use them
• You speak and write fluently in English and can explain complex topics clearly and concisely, as well as adjust your tone depending on your audience
• You’re creative, a problem solver and able to collaborate with others to drive success
• You have a natural talent for understanding people’s pain points and translating them into product needs
• Experience working with, or for eCommerce brands - a big advantage
