We're looking for a NetOps Engineer to join our Operations group. In this critical role, you will be expected to operate Cato's production Cloud Network as well as being a top escalation point for Cato networks' related issues including network or management plain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimized availability and performance of the network.
• Work on optimizations for network availability/issues and automatic mitigations.
• Implement monitoring and requirement for monitoring tools development.
• Create dashboards and alerting for Cato's system functionality.
• Change management: directing system deployments; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Responsible for Incident management and escalations to Dev teams.
• Conduct incidents retro process to derive AIs from high-level incidents.
• Troubleshoot complex Cato cloud network issues.
• Calm multi-tasker, problem-solving skills are required along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
  

• At least 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer role or similar- a must
• background as web/network/information in Security companies- required
• Experience with scripting languages- Python/Bash – a must
• knowledge of networking theories, concepts, and protocols – a must
• Experience With Linux OS - a must
• Experience working with a Cloud, SaaS technology provider
• Understanding of routing protocols, e.g. BGP
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent - an advantage
• Fluent English
