Automation Manager

Avanan is looking for a talented and experienced Automation and QA expert to lead quality in the development organization.

Avanan was acquired by Check Point and it is now Check Point’s Email Security solution

This position holder will own and promote the QA Automation standards and practices across the entire Email-Security unit.

As the manager of the QA & Automation, you will oversee and participate in: planning, development, execution, and maintenance of test plans, creating top of the line test automation, driving to maximum coverage and best quality.

Major Responsibilities

• You will take full ownership of the company's cloud SAAS product quality assurance, serving tens of thousands of enterprises, and millions of end-users.
• Your part will include forming and leading the quality and automation team, designing and implementing several layers of testing solutions (differed by frequency and scope) as well as manual approval of services and features.
• You will analyze and guide analysis for test automation results, implemented by various monitors
• You will plan and lead the development and execution of load and continuous testing, coordinating on-site and offshore efforts within the company and with business partners and OEMs.
• You will hire new team members and create training program to insure quick onboarding.
• You will coach, guide and mentor team members and create professional development programs.

Desired Background

• At least 7 years of test and test automation development experience, including 3 years in a lead role.
• Proven experience testing large scale, cloud/web, multi-tenant complex application with high volume traffic.
• Coding experience in Python & Selenium using linux environment and implementing containers - a must !
• working in AWS environment with EC2, ECS/EKS, ELK - a must !
• Excellent technical skills including design, coding, and problem-solving.
• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with: Web GUI, open APIs, DBs, - an advantage.
• Experience with drive and email protocols and services: SMTP, postfix, exchange, O365, Google mail, Google drive - a huge advantage!
