Project Coordinator (medical device)

Alpha Tau Medical is a dynamic start-up company developing an innovative new cancer treatment that is already being tested in dozens of medical centers around the world with the potential to help millions of patients. Alpha Tau has made news globally for its ground-breaking treatment for skin and pancreatic cancers and continues to work on development of treatments for additional types of cancer. Bringing these new products to market requires a dedicated project management group to keep all projects on track.

The Project Coordinator at Alpha Tau Medical plays a central role in the project management office, responsible for overseeing and facilitating the progress of all inter-departmental projects at the company.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project oversight: Develop project milestones, manage timelines, and define critical resources to reach goals. Prioritize tasks and manage a diverse workload.
• Coordinate project meetings and follow-up with all stakeholders, both inside and outside the company.
• Maintain project management system and dashboards for management and other users.
• Prepare and review project presentations, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.
• Engage collaboratively as liaison between development and clinical departments through all phases of technology and product development.
• Leverage, expand, manage, and connect our expert network of consultants, experts, advisors, and vendors.
• Establish and cultivate relationships across company departments.
• Incorporate project goals in pre-clinical and clinical research departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Up to 20% travel required.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree in a Health Sciences /Engineering field with 2+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

· Experience working in projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure is preferred.

· Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.

· Works well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
