Hardware Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a Configuration Hardware Specialist!

This role is pivotal in the product engineering processes, overseeing product information management and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

What will you do:

• Managing configuration control of the project, engineering documentation, and monitoring.
• Working in a PLM & Configuration Management environment, implementing processes within the organization.
• Responsible for preparing Configuration Management Plans (CMP) in the project and overseeing their implementation.
• Controlling the integrity of product information before its release in the system (product trees/documents/drawings/change documentation).
• Change Management (ECO) in the product, Change Control Board (CCB) concentration, and change approval processes.
• Working with QA, training, and participating in audits with the contractor.
• Generating periodic configuration status reports, and conducting internal configuration audits (e.g., PCA).

What We're Looking For:

• Electronics/Mechanical Practical Engineer diploma or Bachelor's degree (BSC) in Industrial Engineering and Management - mandatory.
• Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineer - advantageous.
• At least two years of experience working on projects in one of the following areas: configuration management, and configuration control - mandatory.
• Excellent Excel skills - mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in building multidisciplinary product portfolios - mandatory.
• Experience working with PLM/PDM - mandatory.
• Fluent English in both spoken and written forms - mandatory.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, and ISO 10007 - significant advantage.
• Experience working with configuration control processes in security companies - advantage.
• Experience in reading mechanical and electrical drawings - advantage.
• Familiarity with development and manufacturing environments - advantage.
• Familiarity with software configuration management - advantage.
• Experience in writing policies, and work instructions related to configuration control processes in development and manufacturing - advantage.
• Experience in leading enforced changes in configuration control - advantage.
