Description:

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for an accountant to manage all accounting, reporting and tax areas of the company in Israel and work with local and global internal and external functions.

Reporting to the CFO.

Location: Center region, Israel

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of routine ad hoc accounting/management information and quality financial analysis to support global and corporate requirements.
• Ensuring the integrity of financial reporting processes and systems, including tax, internal organizational controls, payments, and purchase data.
• Managing the accounting and reporting interfaces between other functions of the company in Europe and with local and external subsidiaries.
• Managing external audit processes and supporting compliance with various tax-related reports.
• Supervision of development and maintenance of current reporting systems (SAP BW, Excel).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting - mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting in a Big 4 firm - mandatory
• Experience as an accountant's assistant from the industry - preferably from a global company
• High command of the English language at the level of conversation and writing - a must
• Ability to work in a team along with the ability to work independently
• Good female interaction
• Business orientation and analytical thinking
• Knowledge of an enterprise system (SAP)
