THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a bright and curious data-minded individuals to join our Data Science team. Data is core to our growing business, and our Data Science team is the engine that powers our data-driven culture. As a Data Scientist you will play a vital role, designing & building solutions for our most challenging business problems and your models will be serving and affecting millions of users worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with data, experience applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to real-world problems, and a natural curiosity and desire to experiment, evaluate and solve problems as part of a fast-paced and growing, product-driven technology team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Conduct machine learning research projects that will shape the product, user flows and make a genuine difference in the success of the company.
• Help design and implement data collection strategy to ensure we know as much as possible about user experience and needs.
• Problem-solve innovative solutions from our unique data (both in quantity and characteristics) to create working products.
• Work hand-in-hand with engineers and product leaders to implement your solutions quickly and effectively.
• Constantly measure, analyze, and produce insights and visibility on performance to keep improving user satisfaction from our products and store.
• Innovate across the broader ODDITY teams to drive cross-functional initiatives to develop, test and scale new ways in which we can optimize and personalize our offering.
• Work with growth, marketing, product, support and management to better understand where data can be useful and ‘move the needle’.
• Support upper management in tasks that will bolster user satisfaction, product recommendations or strategy.
• Build regression, classification, and clustering models using Machine Learning and/or Deep Learning algorithms and techniques.
• Identify opportunities to enrich and integrate data from multiple, diverse sources.
• Build, train, and evaluate prototype models.
• Work closely with engineering/infrastructure teams to help transition models from development to production.
• Follow a methodical, analytical approach and have a natural curiosity to understand and get the best from data.

WHO YOU ARE

• 3+ years of experience in data science. Experience in developing machine learning/image processing/NLP or similar algorithms
• High proficiency with Python and SQL
• Able to quickly learn new tools and data analysis methods
• A self-learner, not afraid to explore new areas of research
• Curious, creative, and hungry for impact
• A team player and a can-do attitude, delivery oriented
• B.Sc. in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics or any other relevant field
• M.Sc. in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics or any other relevant field - Advantage
• Excellent spoken and written English.
