Senior Mechanical Engineer

An exceptional Ag-tech /Food-tech startup is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

The company headquarter is located in Tel Aviv.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at GreenOnyx you will work on design mechanical systems combining Automation, Fluid Control, Sterile systems in a multidisciplinary environment combining engineering, biology, and processes.

Responsibilities:

· R&D Mechanical design and development solutions for mechanical components, modules, using SolidWorks.

· Responsible for Subsystems design life cycle: Concept & feasibility testing, full-scale product design, Design verification, and qualification.

· Lead and lend your expertise for multi-faceted projects in collaboration with the company scientists, engineers, and other specialists.

· Design testing methodologies, its instrumentation, and jigs. Independently or according to standards, conduct testing up to V&V.

· Supporting production and failure analysis.

· Communicate with outside vendors, design production sub-contractors.

· Oversee iterative process of product development lifecycle.

· Focus on workflows, optimization methods, and risk management.

So, if you have:

· B.Sc. or M.Sc in Mechanical engineering from a leading university.

· At least 6 years of proven experience in the design of multidisciplinary R&D projects.

· Experience with different manufacturing technologies such as Plastics, Sheet Metal, CNC, Structures, Water treatment systems.

· Extensive CAD experience – SolidWorks.

· Experience in design for manufacturing and design to cost (injection molding, die casting) – an advantage.

· Familiarity with from the ag-tech and food-tech industries – an advantage.
