Reports to: Process engineer team leader

Location: Ink Plant, Kiryat-Gat

We are looking for an experienced control and instrumentation practical engineer to be responsible for the design, operation, and implementation of new equipment and to maintain the existing equipment. The successful candidate will be able to maintain efficiency, reduce cost by using “out of the box” attitude, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.

What Would you do?

• To develop, implement, monitor, and maintain efficient manufacturing control and instrumentation equipment and workflow for plant products.
• Provide manufacturing data i.e. production control charts, reliability, to improve the process and monitor and measure progress to target.
• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start-up and certification.
• Improve continually existing operations, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings from the control and instrument point of view.
• Manage manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing i.e. calibration, preventive maintenance, equipment guidelines and workmanship standards and process procedures
• Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations – i.e. new process equipment, equipment justification to improve performance

What should you have?

• 2 years experience in a production plant.
• Electronic / Instrumentation & control practical Engineer – mandatory
• Knowledge of Control and Instrumentation devices and communication- Mandatory.
• Proven track record and working knowledge in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with PLC & SCADA systems.
• Hands-on attitude - Excellent technical skills
• A great teammate, always willing to help, and ready to collaborate with others.
• Attention to detail
• Requires good written and spoken English
