Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee and execute maintenance and project work in the electrical field within large petrochemical facilities. This role involves responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and integration of electrical systems, including the training of electricians and collaboration in the design processes of these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide electricians and contractors, including external ones, within the electrical unit.
• Supervise external contractor work and enforce adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Program protection relays and drive systems.
• Participate in the design processes of electrical systems, ensuring the planning and execution meet high standards.
• Prepare and align documentation for projects, and operate high voltage and power electrical installations.
• Develop estimates for projects and take charge of maintenance of protective systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• License as an Electrical Engineer (a must).
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial settings, though talented graduates without direct experience in electrical engineering registered in the Engineers' Registry for strong current and electrical engineering may be considered.
• High technical capability with a strong orientation towards safety and quality.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and persistent with strong decision-making skills.
