Mainframe Developer

What will you do?

• Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of infrastructure software on the central computer.
• Configuration and customization of infrastructure software.
• Continuous support and service to development teams.
• Management, monitoring, and performance improvement.
• Support, analysis, and resolution of issues (Level 3).
• Learning and implementation of new technologies.
• Establishment of standards and work procedures.
• Conducting training sessions and mentoring peers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in software development in financial systems on the Mainframe
• Excellent knowledge and familiarity with COBOL.
• Good knowledge and familiarity with CICS and MQ.
• Familiarity with the OS/z operating system and its components.
• Good knowledge and familiarity with REXX.
• Proven experience in performance management and improvement.
• Good knowledge and familiarity with DB2 - an advantage.
