Introduction

IBM future is based on Hybrid Cloud and AI, with current focus on generative AI (LLM based). These two rapidly evolving areas come with big challenges in the quality of the related products. Our department builds state-of-the-art analytics and ML-based software tools to guarantee the highest quality for IBM products and infrastructures. Our products are used internally at IBM and by external clients who face similar challenges.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will be developing innovative technologies for cloud quality and/or generative AI based solutions quality. Your work as a student will include the design, implementation, testing, and release of the software. You’ll have the chance to take part in writing papers, filing patents, and collaborating with academia in various research tasks. Our diverse development environments include: C/C++, Java, Python, Go, React, CI/CD, and others.

If you have good coding skills alongside a passion for data and experimental research—this could be the spot for you.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Undergraduate CS or EE student, with programming knowledge and a desire to work in the field of software development
• Good software engineering skills and strong theoretical aptitude
• Programming experience is an advantage
• AI/ML knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent team player
