Senior Software Engineer, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• Typically 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture guidance and principals as we evolve quickly in a dynamic and organizationally complex environment.
• Partner with technical leadership in related organizations to chart a shared path forward that balances both the short- and long-term needs, ensuring reliable and flexible system foundations.
• Be a part of the leadership team caring for the organization's health. Coach team members, be a role model, and build an inclusive culture.
• Partner with Product Management, Technical Program Management, and other engineering teams within Database Migration Service (DMS) for technical and product alignment.
