About Avgol:

A Leading Global Manufacturer Focused on Spun melt Nonwoven Fabrics, primarily for the Hygiene Industry. 6 production sites around the world in Israel, USA, China, Russia, and India supplying more than 30 countries. 

Responsibilities

• Providing a response as a primary professional authority in the area of control and automation.
• Responsible for implementing a cyber security policy in the area of OT in the company.
• Planning and maximizing the capabilities of automation and control systems for improving the production process, renewing equipment, and upgrading it.
• Project management and execution in the area of control and automation. Configuration of command-and-control system assemblies, software, and hardware combinations.
•  Monitors process data and analyzes the results. Initiates performance improvement.
• Interface with IT systems of the company. Planning data exchange between OT systems and IT systems.
• Providing professional support for troubleshooting at production sites.

Job Requirements:

• Automation and Control Engineer/electrical engineer - Must
• At least 7 years of experience in the industry and at least 5 years of experience programming Siemens controllers - Must
• Experience in Wonderware / InTouch / Omron controllers programming - Advantage.
• Experience with Siemens Sinamics / MasterDrive speed controllers and electric drives – Advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in Simatic, Starter, WinCC, ProTools, TIA portal, InTouch software – Must.
• Fluent in English – Must.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

The position located in Petah Tikvah, Israel.

Full-time position + 24/7 availability and 24/7 response, and travel abroad as needed.
