Research assistant for a project in AI for healthcare

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Research Assistant to work on a project in AI for healthcare. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, data analysis, and research. The day-to-day tasks will involve performing experiments, developing protocols, analyzing and interpreting data, and presenting findings to the research team.

Main tasks will be:

• Research and development of algorithms (in Python) for deep learning models, including large language models and vision-language foundation models, for processing and combining multi-modal data.
• Developing, programing and conducting computational simulations with deep learning models.

Qualifications

• Excellent MSc or PhD students in computer science, software engineering or electrical engineering from a well-known academic institution in Israel or abroad - required.
• Practical experience in developing algorithms for deep learning AI models (mainly in Python) – required.
• Practical experience in developing models and algorithms for image and video analysis using deep neural nets – required.
• Practical experience in developing models and algorithms for natural language using deep neural nets – required.
• Analytical Skills and Laboratory skills
• Ability to conduct research and analyze data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, independent developer, a team player, and excellent self-learning skills - required.
