Itach-Ma'aki is a non-profit organization established in 2001 to promote the rights and voices of women subject to socioeconomic, geographic, national, and ethnic discrimination. Our goal is to pave the way toward a shared society based on the values of gender equality, equal access to justice, and the integration of a gender perspective into local and national policy. We are located in Beer Sheva.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lawyer. The lawyer will be responsible for representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, researching and analyzing legal information, managing cases, and providing legal advice. This is a hybrid role, meaning the role is located in Beer Sheva, but some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Israeli civil law, including family and labor law
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in Hebrew and English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Passion for promoting women's rights and gender equality
