Service Technician

Rohde & Schwarz, a global Test and Measurement and Communications company, is looking for a

Junior Service Technician in our Ra'anana facility. 

Your tasks

•      On-site (Customer site) AND Depo Test equipment calibrations. 

•      Upgrades and changes to R&S Test equipment

•      Troubleshoot multidisciplinary equipment malfunctions.

•      Maintenance of Laboratory infrastructure

•      Preforming sophisticated manual measurements and following procedures 

•      Maintain automated test systems

•      Collaboration with Sales and support Engineers 

•      Communication with customers

•      Using SAP for tasks managements and work in progress control

How we do it? 

•      You will be trained and certified to your new position as Junior service Technician.

•      Understanding high Freq' and digital analysis. From DC to RF signals.

•      Following R&S requirements and working to ISO/IEC standards and.   

•      Working in controlled environment

•      Operating and maintaining unique solutions for calibrations

•      Onsite customer service 

•      Depo Repairs

•      R&S Israel Service team working Sunday to Thursday. 

•      No home office is available for this position.

 Requirements: 

•      Electronics technical studies, electrical practical engineer, or 1-3 years of equivalent experience

•      Experience in Windows OS environment and using Microsoft tools i.e : outlook, excel, power point

•      Experience with standard Test equipment, i.e : oscilloscope, signal and spectrum analyzer. S.G

•      Excellent English writing and speaking skills  

•      communication, time management, and collaborative teamwork skills.

•      Driving license and Ability to travel to Local customers. - Must

•      Flexibility for Overtime when required

•      capable of lifting and carrying equipment (+- 20KG) 

•      knowledge of RF/HF is an advantage

•      Local Area Networking knowledge - advantage

•      experience in ERP / SAP- advantage
