Technology Infrastructure Manager

The Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel is recruiting a Technology and Infrastructure Manager to serve also as Deputy CIO in Tel Aviv:

Job description:

Planning, establishing, and maintaining the teleprocessing infrastructure, the

system, and information security in the Digital Technologies and Information

Division.

Management of professional office and subcontractor teams

Development and maintenance of the office computing centers and cloud landing

zones.

Planning and execution of work plans in projects and systems, budget control,

change management, etc.

Cooperation with the departments headquarters, user representatives, and

managers in the organization.

Managing contracts with service providers in the field of applications, including

procurement activity, conducting tender processes, managing framework

agreements, etc.

Job requirements:

Five years of experience gained in the last ten years as an IT Infrastructure and

Information Security Manager in a large organization (over 200 computer users).

Experience in virtualization infrastructure, Microsoft system infrastructure, and

information security products.

Experience in cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and Microsoft 365.

Experience in managing and operating survivability, disaster recovery (DR) and

backup systems.

Ability to manage, lead, and motivate employees.

Ability to lead projects and improvements in work processes.
