Assistant Controller

We are looking for a professional Assistant Controller to join our finance department and report to the company's Director of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a rapidly growing and mission driven start up.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support finance team growth by being a finance business partner for other company’s departments
• Preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns, and global and local tax filings
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly reports, including actual vs budget
• Oversees all accounting work, sets up and monitor internal controls accordingly
• Working closely with external auditors during financial and tax audit
• Responsibility over expenses and AP payments, cash management and forecasting
• Responsibility for the company's regulatory requirements, including analyzing requirements and leading projects to ensure compliance
• Support the accounting team in Ad hoc tasks and reporting

Requirements-

• A certified CPA, Internship in Hi-tech team, at one of the Big 4 accounting firms
• Previous experience as a controller/ assistance controller, in High-Tech Company - an advantage
• Deep knowledge of finance, accounting & tax including US GAAP, internal control and processes, regulation and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a team-player
• Independent, self-starter and fast-learner, accurate and well-organized with ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Track record of managing activities and a natural approach to proactively improving them on an ongoing basis
• English – Fluent
